Our Science-Backed Research Papers
This is every study we reference across foryoudaily. Each one has been checked against the US National Library of Medicine — PubMed and PMC — and links to the source so you can read it yourself. Where a paper's own authors describe the evidence as limited, we say so here rather than leaving it out.
How to read this page
Three distinctions matter when you are judging any supplement's evidence, including ours:
- A trial is not a review. A randomised controlled trial tests something on people. A review summarises other people's trials. Both are useful; only one is evidence of an effect. We label which is which below.
- A study of an ingredient is not a study of a product. Research on Bacopa monnieri is not research on our capsule. We formulate with studied ingredients at studied doses — that is a reasonable basis, and it is not the same as having trialled the finished bottle.
- Population matters. A result in patients with a diagnosed condition does not automatically transfer to a healthy adult. Where a study was done in a specific group, we state it.
Every product page lists its actives by name and dose. No proprietary blends, so you can match any ingredient below to what is in the bottle.
Skin Hydration — Sea Buckthorn & Omega-7
-
The impact of sea buckthorn oil fatty acids on human health. Review.
Solà Marsiñach M, Cuenca AP. Lipids in Health and Disease, 2019;18(1):145.
Examines the fatty acid profile of sea buckthorn (Hippophae rhamnoides) oil and its clinical applications. The authors state that supporting human studies are limited, and that most findings come from isolated fatty acids rather than whole sea buckthorn oil.

Effects of oral supplementation and topical application of supercritical CO2 extracted sea buckthorn oil on skin ageing of female subjects. Trial — not indexed in PubMed.
Yang B, et al. Journal of Applied Cosmetology, 2009;27(1):13–25.
We reference this study in our skin articles, and we are direct about its limits: it is published in a trade cosmetics journal that PubMed does not index, so it carries no PMID, and it combined an oral arm with a separate topical arm. Figures circulated from it are not independently verifiable, so we do not quote them.

How we maintain this list
Every identifier on this page resolves to a real, retrievable paper. We check citations against PubMed and PMC rather than carrying them over from supplier literature or marketing material, and we remove any claim we cannot trace to a source you can open yourself. If a figure is not independently verifiable, we do not publish it — even when it would flatter the product.
If you find a citation here that does not check out, tell us at hello@foryoudaily.co and we will correct it.
Important
Research on an ingredient is not a claim about our finished product. Several papers above are reviews rather than trials, and some were conducted in specific patient populations. foryoudaily products are food supplements registered with FSSAI. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Individual results vary. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking prescription medication or managing a medical condition, consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting any supplement.
